Privacy policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This policy explains how Lunolog handles information in the iOS app and on lunolog.com.

The Lunolog app

Lunolog is an offline calendar and journal. You do not need to create an account. The app does not send your journal entries, plans, preferences, or calendar activity to a Lunolog server.

The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, does not request the advertising identifier, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Information stored on your device

Your entries, settings, chosen location and calendar preferences are stored locally. A location you select is used for calendar calculations; the app does not request access to your device's GPS location. The app and its widget share the information needed to display the widget using iOS app-group storage.

Device-level backups, including iCloud backups if you enable them, may include app data. Those backups are controlled through your device and Apple account settings.

Notifications and widgets

Reminders are scheduled locally and require your permission to show notifications. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings. Widgets use locally shared app data to show lunar information.

Exports, backups and sharing

If you export a backup or use an iOS sharing option, you choose where that information goes. Exported files may include your personal entries. Any app or service you choose to receive them handles them under its own policies.

Deleting information

You can use the app's data controls where available, or remove the app to remove its local app data. Copies in exported files, device backups, or other services must be managed separately. Lunolog has no account database from which to delete your journal.

This website

This website does not use advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or application cookies. Our hosting and network providers may process standard request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and protect the website. This website is hosted using Hostinger and Cloudflare.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include so we can respond to your request. Please share only what is necessary to explain the issue and avoid sending private journal content. Email is handled by the email providers involved in delivering and receiving your message.

Changes to this policy

If the way Lunolog handles information changes, we will update this page and its date.
